Sunday Snapshot: Sunset on Kuta Beach

Today’s Sunday Snapshot comes from Hannah and Adam of Getting Stamped, an American couple who decided the normal life was just too… normal. So they are packing their lives into a backpack for a year as they travel the globe. They’re leaving for their RTW trip June 29, 2013.

Kuta Beach, Bali

“As we watched the sunset in Kuta Beach Bali, Indonesia, the locals came out to play soccer. The temperature had started to drop, and their work day was over. They set-up goals with sticks and began a game of beach soccer.

Brent and I will be spending a few glorious days in Bali as we make our way to Japan in a few weeks. If we’re lucky we’ll see a sunset as stunning as this one when we visit Kuta Beach.

Thanks, Agness! We had a layover in Shanghai a few weeks ago, and I couldn't believe how cold it was! I hope you're having a good time – stay warm!

Gorgeous! I long for a view of sun and a beach so badly right now!

It looks pretty serene, doesn't it?

It sure looks like a beautiful place. It reminds me of being a child playing football when the sun is going down. You just try to cram as much in whilst there is still some light.

Yeah, there's something magical about those early evening hours, isn't there?
