Sunday Snapshot: Tad Se Waterfall

Tad Se Waterfall Laos

We visited Tad Se Waterfall in Laos as part of a canoeing and cycling trek. It’s also possible to reach the falls by car, motorbike, or tuk tuk combined with a boat ride from Luang Prabang. But personally, I loved the feeling of leaping into the bright blue, icy cold pools surrounding the waterfall to cap off a challenging and humid journey. It was much more satisfying.

Have you ever been swimming in a waterfall?

Definitely! It was a beautiful trek. Although, I was certainly glad to have somewhere to cool off at the end.

I really wanted to visit these falls when we were in Luang Prabang, but we were there during the dry season and were told the pools were empty. Will just have to go back!

Definitely! We were there just after the rainy season, but I've heard that it's pretty unimpressive during the dry season.
